Turkish Exporters Shine at The Inspired Home Show 2025 in Chicago | IKMIB, GoTradeAmerika & ASKON USA Highlights

The Inspired Home Show 2025, one of the most prominent international trade fairs in the home and kitchenware sector, took place in Chicago with significant participation from Turkey.

Under the coordination of IKMIB (Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters' Association), more than 29 Turkish manufacturers showcased their products at the event. Companies presented a wide range of items, including home goods, cleaning products, plastic materials, and chemical-based solutions. Turkish products attracted attention with their design and quality, resulting in promising new business connections with international buyers.

Many of the participating firms were supported by GoTradeAmerika, a brand of Floq Holding, which provides market entry and operational support for Turkish manufacturers in the U.S.

The GoTradeAmerika team welcomed these firms at the venue, introduced them to local buyers, and organized additional B2B meetings outside the exhibition for select brands, enhancing the potential for long-term business development.

Throughout the event, Turkey was also strongly represented by official and business institutions. Tahir Bora Atatanır, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Chicago, Ahmet Samet Tekoğlu, Commercial Attaché, and Özkan Yılmaz, President of ASKON USA Chicago, were present at the show, actively engaging with Turkish participants and supporting ongoing business interactions.

Following the exhibition, a dinner was held with the Consul General, Commercial Attaché, IKMIB Chairman and delegation, and Özkan Yılmaz, where they discussed Turkey’s export vision and opportunities in the U.S. market.

This participation proved fruitful not only in terms of product exposure but also in reinforcing diplomatic, commercial, and civil cooperation. The event marked another solid step forward for Turkish firms looking to expand into the U.S. market.
